In Part II of this series, we discussed setting your hosting account. Now that your domain has a physical presence, the real fun begins: building the actual pages that will become your web site.
Part III – Build Your Web Pages
After you have setup your hosting account, you are ready to actually build your website. If you have hired someone to handle all of the development for you, then at this point, there are few technical details you need to concern yourself with. You will mostly work with the developer to bring your design ideas to life or build your ecommerce solution.
If you are working with a developer, give them all the time and attention that they ask for. The bulk of this will happen in the planning stages. The more quality time that you can allot to your developer at this point the more you will wind up with a top-notch website. The more you ignore or stress your developer in the planning stages, the more you can be sure that this project will be total flop. Programmers tend to be very detail oriented. They are generally obsessed with order and planning. You will do best by getting into the spirit of this process and work with your developer, not against them.
